This later materialized and we now have over 100 people cutting grass for us, people that were sitting at home and didn't have anything to do with themselves. And I'm talking about both men and women.
Now they are able to provide for their families, buy clothes and stationary for their children. That is the greatest reward.

Many people don't realise that the lifespan of a roof depends on far more than the workmanship they can see. The quality of the grass, the way it is harvested, the size of each bundle and the experience of the people preparing it all influence how the finished roof performs over time.
That's why we harvest premium Hyparrhenia thatching grass from carefully selected regions in Gauteng and Mpumalanga, where natural growing conditions produce strong, durable material suited for quality thatched roofs. Every bundle is inspected before leaving our yard to help ensure consistency, reliability and long-term performance.
